Her past roles include a wide swath of the art and design industry. From hand-crafting store displays in Boston’s Back Bay Anthropologie to helping clients design custom furnishings at Crate & Barrel, she’s immersed herself in the home and design world for decades. A homebody and avid host, Katie leverages her fine art background to create one-of-a-kind parties, handmade decor, and seasonal vignettes. In her writing work with private clients, Katie has a front-row seat to the inner workings of the interior design community. Her research and writing cover top trends, emerging makers, and behind-the-scenes details of the design world. Katie has a Bachelor of Arts in Arts Education from the University of Northern Iowa.
